Time Traveller?

Photo was taken in 1940.
"It’s the short description for the photograph shown at the virtual Bralorne Pioneer Museum, from British Columbia, Canada. The image can be seen specifically on this page (scroll down to the middle), among other items of the online exhibit. Did you notice anything out of place? Or perhaps, out of time?

The man with what appears to be very modern sunglasses seems to be wearing a stamped T-shirt (wumpscut band, founded in May 1991) with a nice sweater, all the while holding a portable compact camera!" -forgetomori

It seems kinda creepy knowing that someone has been tampering with the time-space continuum or something like that. Many people think that he really is from the future of that time while others have provided proofs that he is just an ordinary man who tried to start some sort of fashion revolution. Well, if you ask me, I would believe that that man is from the future because I believe that if we could manipulate one of life's complex natural processes, then we might as well intervene with the time-space continuum thing. :D

Busy Days.

Though the Talumpati thing is already over, which is such a huge relief, there's still a lot more to come. There are still projects to be done, assignments to be passed and tests that need to be studied. Not only are we having Mastery Tests next week, but the Quarter Exams as well! I still need to finish the project in Journ. which involves taking pictures of grammatical errors in signs and other stuff around the city. Also, I still have to do a report on our topic in Social Studies and I still haven't finished memorizing the Desiderata. I still have a lot of assignments to do and a lot more things to study plus I'm still going to watch the second episode of Glee Season 2 and yet I'm still here on the computer finishing this blog. Great. Well, now that I've poured out some of my problems here in my blog, I guess I could concentrate better now than before, that is if I could get off the computer and actually start doing my homework. :)

GLEE. SEASON 2.

After having been kept waiting for almost 3 months now, the 2nd season of Glee has finally aired. The first episode is entitled "Auditions" and aired last Sept. 22. And what's this now? Philippine's own Charice Pempengco is Rachel's new rival? Personally, I am not a fan of Charice, even though she sings well, there's just something I dislike in her. And when I found out that she was to star in one of the best shows to hit the television, I couldn't help but to severely mock her each time I hear her name. Well, that's not all that's new with Glee, there's another new singer named Sam (He's a guy)who sang "Billionaire" really well. Although he didn't join the Glee club as he replaced Finn as the Quarterback of the school's football team. That's right, Finn's been kicked out of the team and by who? Well, Ken Tenaka has long gone for some reason and is replaced by a female coach, aptly named Coach Beiste (It's French). Apparently, the new coach feels that they needed more budget than before, so she told their principal to cut off the budget of the Cheerios, the school's cheer leading squad, which would also mean cutting off the budget of the Glee Club twice as much as before. So Coach Sue and Mr. Schue work together to bring Coach Beiste down but, having a soft heart, Mr. Schue did not continue doing Sue's evil schemes and in the end, befriends Coach Beiste. Well, to find out more on what happened to the newest Glee, just search the Internet! And watch out for the next Glee episode, Britney/Britanny, guest starring, Britney Spears! :D

Have you noticed?

Have you noticed that when both North America and South America, when tilted to the side, look like a duck? What a funny aspect of world georgraphy. :)

Addictions.

Addictions. The first thing that comes into my mind is its negative aspect.
Drugs. Alcohol. Crime. And all the negativity you could possibly think of. But of course, there's always an upside to addictions, as do most things. You may ask, 'What am I addicted to?' to which I reply without hesitation 'Books and the Internet'. Seriously? Who could not live without these things? Well, probably a few might not live without the former, but the Internet? Who could not live without it? It's obvious that some people can live without it but now, it's almost a basic necessity in life, just like our cellphones. The cellphone is another addiction common to young people today. It's not only the youth who are addicted to it but also the adults, and basically almost everyone, here in the Philippines at least. How many times have I heard reporters from TV Patrol say that the Philippines is ranked no. 1 for the country that uses cellphone the most? A lot of times, I tell you.
Speaking of the television, it's also in my 'List of Addictions' but sadly, it just ranks 4th. Most people enjoy watching T.V. because their favorite show is on or probably there's a program that is about their other addictions. In short, we can't easily stop ourselves from watching something on T.V. We are too addicted to it, that is until we find the current programs boring.
Most people are not really into it, but I for one am a big fan of books. Sometimes, when you read a really interesting book, you seem to forget reality and feel like you're the character in the book. It lets you in to another world that makes you wish it was your own reality. Okay, enough said about my undying love for books. So anyway, that's probably all I could say about my addictions and why I am addicted to it. Now that I've told you my addictions, what are YOU addicted to? :D

A Lazy Three-Day Weekend

Why? First of all, I'm sick and I don't think this sickness has any intention of leaving me anytime soon. And since I'm sick, it ruined my plans of jogging early in the morning. So I feel like I completely wasted 3 perfectly good mornings! *sigh* Well, I have no other choice than to do my homework. But wait! I log in to Facebook and suddenly I'm reading this post of a classmate's stating that we have to make a 'talumpati' for CAF! I want to object out loud that we weren't told of any of this but, guess what, I'm too lazy to do that too. Oh well, I might as well do that now, but, sadly, I'm not as fluent in Filipino as I'm fluent in English. It might take me as much as a week to finish a 'talumpati' worthy of a 2nd year student without any help. What else have I been doing over the weekend? Let's see, I played games in the Internet, read a book, and drank a lot of medicine. So, I better do the rest of my homework now or else I'll fall asleep from too much boredom.. again. :)
